Mary Casserley - Artist & Illustrator (and runner!)
When I was at school, there were two things I was good at; running and drawing.
Now, twenty one years later, these same two things are still with me. I spend a day drawing - then go running in the evenings.
The in between bit has been filled in various ways: I spent four years at Art School in Portsmouth . Then I ran my own re-cycled clothing company, "Mary Mary" for eight years.
In 1999 I took off on a solo round-the-world adventure for a year. Since my return in 2000 I've had two books published. I've also illustrated children's books, completed various corporate commercial art commissions for logos, literature, greetings cards etc. but, above all, kept on drawing (oh and of course - running!). |
